Trial helper? What does the job entail?
It basically runs like this:
1. You apply for an interview for a support position.
2. If successful and you pass the interview, you are brought up to a trial helper position.
3. During this "trial" the other support staff basically vote if you should be a full helper, this vote occurs 2 or more weeks after the trial starts.
So basically, if I do good and the support staff think so too, I'll be promoted to a regular support helper.
A trial helper has basic powers, they are able to help in support but without any of the commands, like creating chanservs.
KILL command included ? better be nicer then :wub: :P
Kill commands I believe are restricted to very high level admins, I won't be getting it for a LONG time, if ever.
And yeah, its fun, I try to help in support whenever I'm bored.
Theres quotas you have to meet too, 7 hours per week and 120 people helped in support.
Its not that bad, because I've helped twice this time in under half a week. :rolleyes:
Is this a volunteer position or do they actually pay you for this stuff?
