This thing is pretty cool. Its sort of like object desktop but it doesn't replace explorer, its just a program that displays stats and other things.
You can make your own config for it which means you design it. I downloaded a plugin for it that allows you to query HL servers. I have mine setup to query the Rico DM server every 5 minutes as you can see in the screenshot. I haven't noticed any performance loss or anything on mine.
Got it from

Here's my screenshot.

looks like some general ideas from fluxbox and fvwm has ported over, but only as "makeup" looks nice though
Looks good. Maybe I'll give it a try if my sister doesn't freak out;)
I'm not gonna give it a try, I would never get any homework done.
I am however gonna try a program called godfather which is supposed to be the best one for organizing mp3's.
is that one shareware anon?

or even better... freeware:)
Generally speaking:
SHAREWARE - Software that is offered for free download in hopes that the user will decide to keep it and pay a fee for it after trying it out.
FREEWARE - Software that is offered for free download.
www.fluxbox.org -
www.fvwm.org some nice work that i would like working on windows if i still had it
I am using
bblean as my Windows shell. The good thing is I can share Black Box config files between my Linux laptop and my Windows desktop so my interface has the same look and feel no matter what machine I am working on.
Fluxbox looks pretty cool but I am not too interested in KDE and Gnome. The whole purpose of using a Black Box clone is to speed up the performance on my aging computer.
Its kind of tough to switch to a new and different shell when your use to one. I think I'm gonna try that though, hope its more stable than another windows replacement shell I tried.
Interesting...my previous link has an extra "http" in it I guess. It's ironic that it takes me to a Microsoft site as it is.
Here is the correct URL:
bblean
