Harry Connick Junior is my favorite btw when it comes to the music 'jazz' and Ella Fitzgerald, the woman was amazing live, as a young woman I was privileged to see her, she was older then and it was after her surgery and she was still amazing
charlie parker, glen miller and others of that ilk, also everything that includes long twisty sax solos, since i happen to play the sax.
Guess what? Me too!

Long live the sax
Wynton Marsalis?
Chris Martin?

I enjoy it when i'm in the right mood....

"I see skies of blue, cloud of white
the bright blessed day, the dark sacred nights
and I think to myself, what a wonderful world"

great song... he had one of the greatest voices on earth

Now, some consider Sinatra jazz... but would he be more big band?

there were many excellent musicians too... buddy rich was one of them, was supposed to be a bit of a jerk though.

My great aunt is really into jazz and met many of the musicians of the time.
I'd call Frank Sinatra jazz but more of a crooner but not really big band.

Still good stuff
