The newest bunch of candidates for governership of California. Michael Savage is supposed to decide whether he will run on friday. Could be a fun recall.
are they going for some kind of record?
governor of california runnings etc. because of the recall thing anyone is aloud to run.
this recall thing is a good thing in a way because one of the complaints many people have of american democracy is that if you don't like someone you vote for, you have to wait 2-6 years...it's good that people are standing up and saying that they aren't going to just wait around while things go further down the toilet.

overall, this seems to me to set a good precedent for everyone.
The only problem is how much the recal itself costs the state:(
As long as arnold wins..it will be worth it...man thats badass...
yes, but another general complaint about american democracy is that if the majority of the people didn't vote for them in the first place, they never would have been elected. so why are they in office at all? the recall is just a step back that costs a lot.
gary coleman isnt running..he signed up but decided not to run :>

i now have no reason to live
California is like another country. You only need 10 grand and 20 signitures to run for governer. Davis is gonna get stomped because of the way the recall vote works. And EVERYONE knows Arnold when they see him as an alternative on the ticket. He could win with 10% of the votes. There are 200 freakin people running. Not only does Arnold have the charisma...but hes a fellow Republican. wOOt
wow pix you dont pay attention to much:Plol jk...its 3500$ upfront..and you need 35 signitures

that argument isn't logical. many people get fired or are asked to resign from company positions because they don't meet their employer's expectations, even though they had shown direct and/or indirect evidence that they could.

california, although having the most revenue of any state, has a financial debt greater than the combined debt of 48 states (that's all other states except new york btw)....so a little more ain't gonna hurt ya...:)especially when you can send the msg that you're not going to let your state be screwed over by incompetent leadership.
colorado has a history of long stupid leaders.
anyone heard of bettey beedy? she was the one who openly called all single moms ***I'm Stupid for Swearing***s. she also told an african-american national talk-show host that "only white people are normal." she boycotted a meeting in Crested Butte (a well-known ski town) because it promotes a "ski naked" day sometime in the winter.

just recently, an idiot named Charles Wingate was forced to resign, after commiting 16 felonies and 2 misdemeanors. apart from browsing porn (daily, and in massive amounts) in his office on his city computer, he decided to pawn it, as well as another computer and clock radio from another city council member. he also bounced checks, and charged pizza on a stolen credit card, which, of course, he denied (even when caught in the act). in fact, he denied all the charges, except to say that "everyone else in the republican party can break the rules, except me." the only problem is, the city made a deal with him, saying that the charges will be dropped if he resigns, so he resigned, and lives unpunished.
