My car, with $1 mill. liability and minimal coverage costs about the same Frooty.. soo it's not much different. $1700 cdn though. not usd
I pay 110.00 a month for full coverage insurance for both my cars together.

?
No way it's that cheap. Insurance is supposed to be something you need to mortgage the house to afford. It's going to cost $8k annually to insure me for liability alone, on a dying non-muscle car.

Ouch, move to the USA:)
how much you have wha?? because for me that's about $1700 anually... you must be planning on driving a full car through the wrong lane on the freeway.
8 grand a year? goodlord man, what did you do? steal a car when you were 15 and drive it thru a church full of people? and now they are going to get there money back? I am lucky my mom is getting me a great deal from where she works selling insurance plus I get a multi car discount and a multi policy discount cus I have home and life insurance thru the same place.

Plus I have no claims that went over the amount that makes you insurance go up, so they consider me a safe driver for the past 22 years.

bad part is I think when I hit 40 my insurance goes up cus they start tacking on more because I will be old and senile.

Okay so I don't really own it. And they don't let me drive it either. I DO work for AAA, does that count for anything?
is that a scion tC beastie? nice cars - we don't get them over here though:(

Quick - i'd send the car back... the steerin wheels in the wrong place:Phow the hell do you insure a new saab 9-3 .. aren't you same age as me? :/ yank insurance must be cheap as chips O.o
Well we consider it expensive..but I guess it isn't as bad as over there..not really sure. And its one of the safest cars on the road..so they can't really jack up the insurance.
put it this way.. for me to get insurance on the same car as you would probably cost around £5000.. ($8000 ish) O.o
It is in fact a Tc. I would assume that eventually they will be sold internationally. It's still a new venture for Toyota.
