Sorry these were proven to be a hoax. There is a university website that has all these (and much more) and has dates on when they were caught.

This came up on MekTek a while ago, i'll see if I can dig up the info on it.

But I do want to say that they are all real fish.
Here ya go, found some info on it.

lol yeah it was an email I got :P
they may have been fake but these my friend are real :P
so they are real, just not from the storm?
Yes they are real fish (as ugly as some of them are) but they were not brought up because of the tsunami.

Most of those fish live very very deep. Most of them live many miles down.
WOW #2 looks CRAZY I wonder if it's teeth glow. lol
AHAHAHAHA!!!!!
"Thailand's Phuket beach"
number 4 is also quite strange. Anyone have an idea what that upper tail is for? Besides the obvious.
I remember seeing #2 on TV once (National Geographic i think)... I think that thing under its mouth lights up and acts as a lure.

Also, i read that some fish in the deep use red colouring to camouflage themselves because for some reason it cant be seen by predators.

These deep water fishes are very interesting.
starting to wonder about frito? hmmmmm and his intentions.
