Trojan.exe w32 or something like that.
Yesterday my norton picked it up during my weekly scan. I don't know where it came from but be careful. It was not able to repair the program, and i'm not sure why, and it came out on the 9th, Symantec didn't update it until the 10th, so if you haven't done a deep scan since then it would be adviseable.

I've been getting microsoft updates through the email, that have virus written all over it, considering i get my updates through windows update.

..and that microsoft doesn't ever issue email updates. Ever.
