Microsoft update - FuzzyShoting - 07-15-2004

It has just come to my attention MS had to release an update to remove the font Bookshelf Symbols 7 because of "unacceptable symbols". Nowhere in their press releases did they mention the symbols they found to be unacceptable, but I've found them to be swastikas. One is made with the tilda key and the other is made via Alt+0134.

Go ahead and try it.... some may find this case serious or funny....

It looks like a very early hand from Babylon about 5000 years ago. So why should it be included in windows anymore:lol:

Swastikas should be removed everywhere I think, wondering why microsoft hasn't done that much time ago.

Swastika??

Google told me "Swastika" for "Hakenkreuz". It's that symbol in your editor, a nazi sign. guess u shouldn't post it in a forum.

@PIX: What the hell???:angry::blink::(

If you have updated since then... then you cant remake the symbol...
Kinda old news :wacko:
But just sniffed it up from a news site..... That sign demonstrated was the symbol you could make with the Bookshelf Symbols 7. With the key combination ALT+0134

Alt+0134 looks like a cross.

Yes if you use Times New Roman (what is wrong with people and fonts)
