Show me your equipment - GRITS - 06-08-2004

Lots of musicians on these forums...mostly guitar players a few brass and a bass player or two and a few drummers...(have to say them last or they will forget you said them by the time they reach the end of the sentence)^_^

I don't have good pictures of my stuff but we were talking today on mIRC and said I would share when I got home.

It would be best if you were playing your own stuff but if that is not possible just post any picture even if you get it off line....so long as you state whether you want it or own it already so you receive the appropriate ewws and ahhhs.

oh btw not me at the drums

Show me your equipment - Sockhole - 06-08-2004

Show me your equipment - sage_4 - 06-09-2004

my camera is dead right now, but here is a pic of my Martin that i snagged off the web.

i know, i know, it's a little ironic that my name is Marty and I own a Martin, but I look at it this way: I'll never lose it, it has my name on it!

Show me your equipment - FreeFall - 06-09-2004

my guitar is this one except mine is black:

My Guitar!!

My amp well. . my newest amp anyways:

My Amplifier!!
I'd post a pic of my other amp but a small 15 watt randall doesn't merit posting

I also have a keyboard sitting dusty in my room, I should start playing it more, I only really use it now and agin. Then there's the sax. . It was my mum's from highschool, then my sister started it and then i tried teaching myself it around the same time i got my guitar. . so I didn't do too much, I still wanna learn it though. I believe that's it...if not I'll post it at a later date.

shhhh that was our secret...oh and the other 8 people on mIRC:D

Show me your equipment - brokend - 06-09-2004

i have:
-Epiphone SG special electric guitar (great little cheap-o, real solid)
-a 1976 Hollow body Bolero electric (great blues guitar, made in Japan for the American Bicentenial)
-a Durango 3/4 size classical (the one i play when i don't feel like plugging something in)
-an Ibanez Soundgear Bass guitar (another cheap-o, but a nice bass when i'm experimenting)
but the one i love the most is my Fender FV1 Electric Violin, cos it has awesome sound, whether you're playing soft and sweet, or loud and distorted. jebus, i love it.

also, i'm looking for a good electric cello, something along the lines of Gretta Cohn's (from Cursive), but holy cow, they're expensive.

Show me your equipment - Squish - 06-09-2004

Hey Grits, we're not that........... What was I talking about again?

anyway, I want to post a picture of my future....junk for all to enjoy.... no job.... no money.... no set :/ anyway, onto the shiny stuff.....

gritsy's set would do too

Show me your equipment - brokend - 06-09-2004

and this is my other chile, the SG. i'll try to get a pic of my Bolero, but i don't think i'll find one. i haven't even been able to find any existence of the company or model, nor the humbucker models, or anything that i can find written on it. it was very used when i found it, but other than what the dealer let me know, i don't know much about the history of this guitar. maybe it's worth some money, but it's doubtful. it just has a great tone.

Show me your equipment - jabbahunt - 06-09-2004

so this one will age me, but here goes.

Show me your equipment - fritoman - 06-09-2004

OMG really jabba? spoons are awesome if you can really play them.

Show me your equipment - Scrye - 06-09-2004

what? those aren`t real spoons!!!
i say that would be cheating.... lol
you need to know the old fashioned way!!!:)

Show me your equipment - SoulEvan - 06-10-2004

I have a nice bottom-line Yamaha Acoustic with electric strings on it.

I also have a strange, used Washburn that I bought off of CloudFuel's dad for $75.

I need a job. Planning to buy his Fender Strat(not Squire) for $250 and maybe my friend's hollow body Ibanez for $400(case included).

CALL ME, FRY'S

Show me your equipment - SoulEvan - 06-10-2004

note the sweet sharktooth inlays...that aren't mother of pearl, btw :D

Show me your equipment - Reciprocity - 06-10-2004

:Dawesome..... I got my friend a hamer off a drunk kid once :x
10 bucks. guitar was at least worth 150 :/

Show me your equipment - DragonLady23 - 06-10-2004

LOL jabba

Show me your equipment - Turtle - 06-10-2004

I have a cheap Harmony electric, and a 35+ year old Gretsch Acoustic Guitar. It needs some work on it. I'd post a picture but I can't find one.

Show me your equipment - brokend - 06-10-2004

i used to have a Harmony, it was a great guitar, despite it being worth about $50. when i got the SG, i donated the Harmony to my school, since they didn't have any, but as far as Strat copies go, it was great for the money.

Show me your equipment - Ichigo - 06-10-2004

that be my noob guitar that i'm tryin to learn on, some Peavey starter one.. and a 15 Watt Peavey amp..
That also be my old Casio CT470 keyboard, I got a Yamaha PSR-640 in other room.. *finds a pic off net*

Show me your equipment - Gump - 06-10-2004

my starter electric guitar

Show me your equipment - Gump - 06-10-2004

and my epiphone acoustic

Show me your equipment - [CAKE]anonymity - 06-11-2004

I didnt know EP made accoustics, nice. My guitar teach has a vintiage epiphone from the 60's. It sounds great and I actually got to play it for a bit.

Show me your equipment - brokend - 06-11-2004

epiphone's parent company is Gibson, pretty much anything that Gibson produces, Epiphone will produce a little cheaper with a little less quality, so that the average consumer can afford the $1200 Les Paul instead of the $4500 Les Paul. droooool.

Show me your equipment - Wanksta - 06-11-2004

heres my fender electric guitar, sorry bout the poor quality it was hard to take in my room.

Show me your equipment - SoulEvan - 06-11-2004
