No its not GRITS.
The realm (server essentially) is called Dark Iron, and is owned by the creators/writers of penny arcade. I forget their names tho, so someone will have to remind me. My friends is in their guild and from what I hear they are characters. So to all you penny arcade/wow fans, enjoy.
