UO is going to get a complete overhaul in the soon to come future. Which could potential put it in the running again, which is quite hard for a ten year old game to do.

but we all know these 2d mmorpgs were always, and will always be, better than these 3d ones. Hell even i might give the new UO a bash

uo was the most complete and fun mmo i've played and i have given a few a whirl. I do hope some attention does come back to the game with this.
