Which TS server is the best right now? I hate having to try each one.

Can't really say.. they all seem pretty similar... the best one.. is one with 'netniV' in the description... look for it on occasions... heh.

Well I installed TS and steam won't recognize it..I guess it can't figure it out..or I put it in the wrong place..Where do I put it? ;)

In your Steam folder go to the SteamApps folder. In that folder open the folder with your email address and place your TS or any other third party mod in the half-life folder. On the games menu in Steam it will be listed under Third Party Games.

You should try TS roleplay servers sometimes... if u have even a little interest for roleplaying. Rpg:s can be very fun with cool ppl... and with a host to kick dming morons.

Thats what I did...but I had to make a HL folder and then I put it in..so I'm not sure why I can't see it...another bug of steam??;)

I don't know then. I posted the same directions I saw on another site. It worked for me. Try posting or doing a search on the Steam forums.

I did what he did too, didn't work for me... must be a quirk ...:)

before anyone gets too far off-topic...i was thinking of starting a little ts server on the weekends. just enough room for 6 and probably one map (ts_bikini). if anyone wants to play, then lets do it. btw, i will probably disable the barret and the autos. maybe even making it pistols and melee only. i would probably leave the sawed-off in too.

katana only, katana only, katana only...:)

Specialist Servers - _Acid_Head_ - 10-03-2003

Katana, Knives, and Kung-fu only! I'm so good with knives, almost like aiming with disks in RC (except there's semi-realistic gravity physics in TS).

Specialist Servers - kermit - 10-03-2003

ts has all these cool guns and yet, you guys don't want to use any of them:(. heh...well, i'm game so-to-speak anyways. i'm getting pretty good w/ a knife myself. i think acid's idea is fine.

one time, this kung-fool came at me and somehow dodged all my raging bull rounds. then he kicked my gun out of my hand. he then picked it up, went to shoot me in the head...but ...oops!...no bullets...haha...*click* *click*...i pull out my knife and threw it right in his chest. i win. just something i thought i'd share...

Not katana only, but knives and kung-fu only sounds good. Or all weapons except rifles and mac10.
