In Wednesday's update, Steam introduced the "Half-Life 2 Hardware Survey". This mostly automated survey collects information about Steam users' computer hardware (and some software). Valve plans to use this information to tune the performance of Half-Life 2. In three days, the survey has so far collected information from almost half a million respondents. The results of the survey are pretty interesting -- check them out and see how your configuration compares to everyone else's.
Since Wednesday's update, the Steam network has returned to normal operating levels. There will be a small update to the Steam client this coming week. Details will be posted here first.

And it's damn annoying coz everytime I sign in it pops up again. I don't want to send any details off to Valve, no no no... oh you appeared again... the answer is STILL no!!!
