Im trying to go from cable modem -> wired router -> wireless router. But everytime i change the local ip on the wireless router i cant get to its config anymore.

I reinstalled steam recently, and all was going well (although I could rarely find anyone on the rico servers) until the new update.

Now, whenever I try to log on, I get this message "Platform Error: bad module Friends/friendsUI.dll could not load". Tried everything on the steam forums related to the problem, and then some more. Tried a standard reinstall. Haven't yet tried a clean install, since I don't really want to have to reinstall everything within a few short weeks of having done that.

Anyone had this problem, fixed it maybe??

I don't think its a firewall problem. I'm pretty sure (after many checks) that it isnt a malware problem. To be honest, I'm stuck.]]>

I have just bought a wireless network card and connect to the local network fine (or at least itunes appears to be able to use it)... but often have problems when i try to use the net.

I've no idea where i picked this up, but investigation showed it was a microsoft program involved in translating between IPv4 and IPv6. The article I read then appeared to say it probably wasnt necesssary, and the microsoft summary of the program/technology was more or less incomprehensible to me. What i did suspect was my computer, so i played around, eventually rolling back the driver on my network card. This killed my internet instantly. Ive now used someone elses comp to dl a new driver and installed that. Still no internet. Any ideas??]]>
