I am going to try steam on linux. I know you have to download the main steam file but what else do you have to get?
Do you have to download those other files for the games or does HL just work the same?

You might as well download the cache files too or else you'll be waiting hours and hours to play.

more then a year ago when I first heard of steam and heard what they were trying to force people to do, I hated it. I laughed really hard when they first tried to roll it out and it crashed 3 hours before it was suppose to be released lol

I installed Scream, I mean Steam, after the 800MB download. Looks perty but SHIT
does it lag like crazy at points. I am so dissappointed.:( |
