it will be ok
try and ignore them unless they are belligerent, when you respond they have received a reply to their stupid comment...sometimes just best to ignore there are probably at least 200K more of them out there
I know how frustrating it is to open a post that is just some idiot spouting out. We don't get that many posts on steam and it is depressing when you think it is a person interested and it turns out to be "I hate this mod"

It's amazing to see the large majority of people in this new Steam world who seem to HATE ricochet. It's like they just NOW
discovered that there is a game called ricochet. Where were these people over the last 2 years and why are they being such
a-holes now? Such an influx of people saying this game sucks and you are a hacker. I hate to have to start over with a bunch
of noobs. Also, it drives me crazy for everyone named Player to ask the same question OVER and OVER again....How do I play?
Doesn't ANYONE read the HOWTO's anymore. SHeer laziness. We in the linux community can't stand that laziness and will provide
zero help to anyone who asks that question without using 3 or 4 mouse clicks to investigate that themselves. I propose the standard
encounter script:
1. (Player) How the f do I play this?
2. (me) Have you read the HOWTO.txt file?
3. (Player) No.
4. (me) Why not? Someone spent time writing that file for a purpose.
5. (Player) I never read those.
6. (me) I never help lazy people.
7. (Player) Tell me, how do I jump?
8. (me) It's in section 2 of the HOWTO.txt file, didn't you read it?
9. (Player) No I didn't read it.
10. (me) You obviously didn't read how to change your name either.
11. (Player) This game is stupid.
12. (me) Most people named Player say that. Your deposit for this free game is being returned in the mail. Please go play another free game.
I've never seen a more intuitive game in my life. Maybe that's why the noobs hate it. Or maybe it is because they can't wreck havok with a lame
ass MP5 or flashbang. These kids have been spoon-fed Counter-Strike for their entire Pentium 2/3 lives and bigotry of something new is disgusting.
We don't have a shortage of fun regular players as I see it. Can we not adopt new stricter guidelines on the Holdout's servers to keep this cancer
from spreading to our little piece of the pie? I say ban/kick ANYONE who says This game sucks and let them continue to fire away with the automatic
weapons on another server. No need to play diplomats anymore. We have to defend and keep what is ours and stick up for it.
That is my say...I'm going to get my 5th cup of coffee.

I guess you haven't been on when an admin is there and someone says "this game sucks" or any of the other derivatives including "this game is for losers" always has been our rule.....warn them...then kick or temp ban them....with enough leeway given to individual admins for their level of tolerance....for example while I might warn once maybe twice "if you don't like it you can leave" or "who is twisting your arm to stay?" before I kick the offending player....some of the admins are in the middle of an admin_ban player when they say..."you don't like it? leave" and then "I helped player with his decision"
I agree we should only have so much tolerance for the idiots and dispose of them before they become too obnoxious
That last one is my line, don't you dare pinch it.

Everybody knows idiots like that only join so the admins can fool around with all the fun commands, like admin_execclient. Why else would they act like that? :upto:
Aye, like when someone joins and immediately asks, how do you kick someone? So I showed them... don't know if they understood the demonstration, but they didnt' come back.

one of the main reasons i stopped reading the steam forums is ppl takeing cheap shots at rico. "I've been here half a second and i say the game sucks, it is diffrent so therefore crappy."
I told a guy at school the other day that i play rico, and he thought i was nuts, only because i had an open mind to a game.

if somebody asks how do you kick ppl..and you kick them.thats abusing admin..they asked a simple question and you should respond..not by using your powers..thats what i dont like about your server's grits..ppl tend to think they are god and just kick ppl for idiotic reasons
