Those little picture things...in the margin

How do i get one of those pictures in the margin when i post a message? you know the ones i mean (ie Jabbahunt has a picture of Jabba, etc). And how do i delete an account? I need to delete a previous account so i can change the email address in this account to the one used by the account i want to delete (confused yet, haha).
