HLDM is the first online game I ever played but I can never seem to find anyone on any of the servers much less Vad's. Seems the only place people routinely show up is on evil_admins 'monster' server.
Most of the regulars are gone or busy in real life and recently I heard some of the 'die hards' are visiting less often and feel the same as me that there is just not enough traffic.
You see the options. I am going to check with HOLDOUTS this week and see about the possibility of changing Vad's HLDM to TS and about moving it to steam.
Please give me your opinion and help me figure out the most beneficial change.

I have only played hldm 3 or 4 times in the past year, and that was just cause I was bored, then again I don't play ts that much either. How about making it a vietcong or 1942 server, hehe

well im no HLDM regular, but i'll play with anyone who asks, although im not that good. I don't play TS and i know ppl are gonna start saying how good it is now, sorry for sending the !topic off.

My friend and I are addicted to TS and I think yesterday played over 4-5 hours. I know we would love to have a server run by people we know. And could take care of some of the lamers..I asked some other TS friends and they would love this too:D Heres a pic of me and joe (paintballfreak66) completly owning:D

i don't play ts anymore, but...if you still have that cs server, maybe you ought to change that one instead. i remember it getting even less business.

I have only played a couple times with Frito and netniV, I didn’t know all the rules etc. and like Jabba my 'look' was backwards and messed with my mind until I got it working right. I think it looks cool, just needs some 'attention' and for me to actually read the FAQ. I never see anyone playing HLDM even the regulars anymore and I am getting lonely. I know that a couple players here play TS and thought it would be good for when I am in the mood for 'other than ricochet'. I haven’t played HL2 but it looks amazing and would like to have a game server for it when it is available....If one of the ricochet servers isn’t changed then TS would probably be sacrificed.

By default, inverse mouse control is set, but that's a simple option to change and requires nothing major. Other than that, just have to get used to slow-mo's and special moves, plus the weighting ratings that are linked to your crosshair bar.

TS really does rock....... until you meet TS roleplay. THAT rocks.

Only thing is, changing to TS would increase the chance of me meeting runningwithscissors ingame (correct me if im wrong.... i dont know u guys).

This is a problem cos my TS name IS runningwithscissors.

I might just confuse myself and start running round like a headless chicken, or me when i first played rico....
