Burnout 3: Takedown

I picked up this gem for the Xbox last week. It is also out for the PS2. I will link you to pics and vids from Gamespot. Game has tons of modes and online play. Graphics are also some of the best that the Xbox offers. So for those of you with a Xbox or PS2 I highly recommend it.

i've heard mixed reviews..so far it seems like you'll really like it or it will be a disappointing change from numbers 1 and 2

Most of the reviews I've read have rated the game around 95% higher than either of the first 2.. I've never played the first 2, but have read this is the best of them all.

I'm curious to where you read differantly.

I don't see a score below a 9 from any of those sites or mags.

Unless the people you heard from just don't like these type of racing games to begin with. Then I would see why they wouldn't like it. It is a arcade racer not a simulation racer like Gran Turismo or anything of that nature.
