Protocol and etiquette

After the death of almost the entire party I realized maybe you guys can't read minds.

so here is the way I try to keep everyone alive......

I prefer to buff everyone right before we start, I buff myself first and then the mages, rogues and warriors, in that order. This way when my buffs start to wear off I know you guys' buffs are not going to last much longer.
When I ask you to debuff that means click on your buffs in the top corner to get rid of them so I can start fresh ones for you. (it is easier to keep track that way)

When we are attacked I heal whoever appears to be losing HP and if more than one is losing at the same rate then in this order, warriors, rogues, and then mages
Because mages tend to haul ass to get out of the way and thus I can not heal them because it says "skill failed target too far".

All I ask is for you to check out where I am when we start a fight and I will try to stay as close as I can to that area unless I get attacked (I even let the bad guys walk over me sometimes) It is up to you to 'run by' me or stop near me if it is safe, so that I can heal you as soon as I can without getting someone else killed. Please don't bring the enemy with you when you head my way, I am a whimp and die easily ^_^
Don't expect buffs until after the fight because it takes too long to issue them and I have to keep healing, just stay safe until I can get to you. And I will always make sure you get the health (red silouette) and defense buffs (blue shoulder pads), it takes a lot of mana to give buffs so unless we are fighting something that shoots poison, I will save that one. Please if you don't have the two most important buffs, say something before we start.

ok that is my side of the priest job, I am open to suggestions on better ways to do any of the above, I hate to see you guys collapse aka die.
Also I think we should make this into a suggestion thread, my first suggestion would be to make sure everyone is ready before you bring an enemy down on our party, just because the person appears to be "there" doesnt mean they are at their keyboard :)

agreed, also.... mages, if you see that your people are being inaffective and close to dying, tp them out, making it less likely for them to die, always tp the healer too;)

good to consider. beyond that though grits, priests often have to heal on the fly, so learning a little of that won't hurt. I fully agree that lvling should be as non-strenuous as possible, though.

Another thing is, when we are fighting large monster one person should draw, that way there is no chance of attacking 2 at once.

or three, omg you guys that draw monsters need to coordinate that, it scares the hell out of me when I see everyone pick a monster, I have to admit it is easier to see the fireballs going at monster than arrows, but sometimes you guys do it at the same time, maybe a suggestion would be for us to appoint a lure at the begining of the party

razor.......we need to go in and practice your suggestion, I know I need better armor and to learn to run and heal for when we go to war (learned this the hard way);)

Yeah lol mages tend to take off running:P When fighting the big monsters, but warrriors and rogues tend to stay and fight i agree grits.
