A clone of steams friends list.
Now that i said that, will many think off...... ARGH i cant connect to the friends list.
BUT there is a solution called Xfire, it supports more games and only has the basics a fine little chat program should have.

FEATURES:
Supports more then 70 games (didn't wanna count more games, LOTS OF GAMES SUPPORTED)
Detects if you're connected to a Team Speak server and lets your friend join..... (if the server is not with password that is).
Lets your friend join a game server that your on.

UPSIDES:
The connect server is ALWAYS up and connectable at all times
LOTS of games supported ^_^
1MB to download
only takes up 3mb ram and 3mb virtual ram

DOWNSIDES:
Ugly sounds when someone connects or writes a msg to you. (disable the sounds or replace them with ICQ sounds)
