just switched to my laptop from my desktop in my dorm.

Surprise! It's XP, not vista. I need to get vista actualy, but i like the interface, and can't afford it now

Dont get Vista. Its horrible, slow, and clogs up RAM. I think you need a gig just to run it (i got 2). I get a blue screen of death atleast once a day. And i do have all the updates.
