It's been far too long since i've contributed anything to this place. and there is far too much information here for me to dwell on for anything less than a month. Instead, i'll share some riddle with you, and perplex you for a while; those of you who get them quickly, allow the slower of the herd to catch up, lest they become the cat's prey.
You find us in darkness, but never in light.
You find us in daytime, but never it night.
In the deepest of shadows, we hide in plain sight.
What are we?

They call me a man, but i don't have a wife.
I do have a body, but i do not have life.
I do have a mouth, yet i have no breath.
Water brings me life, and light brings me death.
What am i?

What can be caught, and heard, but never seen?

A rich man wants it
A poor man has it
If you tried to survive off eating it alone, you'd surely die.
What is it?
----------------------
Name something that lives off its own substance, and dies once it devours itself.
