I'm finding it harder and harder to control my love hate feelings towards microsoft. On the one hand the yo0ung rebel and hopeless romantic in me wants to hate them for the monopolizing that the corporation does, and for the shady business deals, and how they rope people into being forced to use their products (although I have yet to pay for a version of windows to date)
On the other hand, I don't ever want microsoft to go away. If the great whale ever falls we are screwed. Much like the division of the telephone companies way back in the day, if we get more divisions in the OS war, there would soon be about 20 choices for the average computer user, instead of, like 2.5. I like it when I can send my friends music and documents and pictures without having to convert it to some crazy format. Call me crazy, its just simple.
But yeah, he kicked microsofts ass.
