Tough situation here...
I am gonna just give my 2 cents in and let it be. I was playing minutes before all this occured.
I have to agree with Gwar on a few points and as I respect him as a player, a friend, and as an admin he has full rights to do as he sees fit. Acid was kinda messed up last night and we all know he has many hats. This hat was Sunday night movie material.
At the same time, these types of problems are beyond the ricochet world. Perhaps Acid does need some sort of therapy, who knows? Perhaps he does things that the rest of us would not do. Perhaps he lives in a world we don't understand, so it facinates us in strange ways.
Still.... take away a guy's driver's license. Take away a guy's pot. Let him get fired, let his girl leave, hell write a country song about him! Why take a mediocre half life mod away from him? I like how we are a community, too but can we really be responsible for getting our members help for 'real' problems? If acid disappeared we would wonder, but no one's gonna fly out to LA and look for him. Let him play the stupid game.
I hope that Gwar maintains his ground if he feels strongly about it. But I know Acid will be able to play at lmglenop's for as long as he plays. I am not saying there is NOTHING he could do there to get banned, but for now I hope he will visit there frequently. I will still be happy to play with him there.
