Well, we had a dude who is rich, smart, and has access to all kinds of gizmos... he wanted to recruit several people (myself included) to help him out in the senior prank. Originally he was going to get police scanners, headsets, video cameras, all this crap to record the event and to tell us to get the hell out of there if we were going to get caught. The plan was to go in and essentially take glueguns and glue the doors of every hall shut (the classes are in one-story buildings in like a partial ellipse around the quad, each a long hallway that has between 10-20 classrooms). Two things threw us off that course... one, we were planning it in junior year to get a nice headstart, and as we were planning, the seniors for 2002 came in the school and tagged the entire place in our school colors and said crap like "Class of 2002" or whatever. It was an expensive mess, it was everywhere, and they got caught (they left the paintcans... and it traced back to where and when they bought the paint, which was a day or two before), and obviously severely punished. Gluing the doors would be a fire hazard, and if we got caught, it would just screw us all.
I proposed an idea that was simple, stupid, and just kinda funny. We'd go either to the grass-covered quad, or the grassy area outside of the school. There are kits to can buy to make a pond. We'd dig a hole, create the pond, put plants and fish in it, and just put up a sign with something on it. Seems kinda ridiculous, but that's the idea. It's not really vandalism, hell, it would look better. And it's just odd, people would come in and be like "WTF... it's a damn pond!" Anyway, not sure if it's going to happen, school year is ending and I haven't heard anything more... so I'm not involved in it.
