steam crashes explorer
#1
now when I start steam it crashes my explorer, when that happens it shuts down explorer and restarts and then crashes again, and so on. the problem is that steam never gets up and running so if there is an update for this it never gets a chance to do it because it cant run. any suggestions? I have restarted my computer to see if that would fix it and it didnt, and because i didnt know what was causing it at first, but I soon figured out that if I do a control alt delete and stop steam from running my explorer stopped crashing, I also notice that steam was useing alot of resorces, like 24 to 25000.

That's normal for Steam to use that much. Mine uses over 26,000.

I can't really help you here as that stuff is way over my head. The only thing I can think is maybe you have a memory leak or something of that nature.
