Stand off (work in progress)

Not sure if I'm gonna stick with this name or not. It just kind of popped in there as I was looking at the image.

This is just mainly trying to get my creative juices flowing again. They've just been sitting around doing nothing for a while.

I'm thinking of trying to make this into one of the poser characters in real life images that i've worked on before.

I have a few interesting pictures I'm gonna try.

Image is 1000x478 pixels and 45k in size.

Front and closer up view of the woman. I still need to work on her face. Give her some emotion. I also need to find a better texture for her face.

This one is 294x1000 pixels and 39k

That there, except for the WIP, my name and url is 100% Poser 4. http://www.curiouslabs.com

Its a 3D posing program that I've been using for a while. Basically it allows me to take pre built 3D models and pose them how ever I want.

I've got version 4 and 5 and a few thousand models downloaded off the net from places like http://www.daz3d.com and http://www.renderosity just to name a couple of places.

Check out my bryce and poser section at http://gwars.mektek.net/gwarsbane (I've been slowly working on gettig my sites up and running again)

Ya I just posed the model, I didn't draw her. I did pick her clothing, the guns, hair and skin.

I recognize that dragon, I think it is a lot more impressive than the girl...but I am missing a y chromosome so that could explain it.

The dragon has a texture on it that I'm still working on. The head area needs to be tweaked still as its not right yet. Also I need to do a few touch ups on all the horns, claws and edge of the wings. Its a 4000x4000 texture so it takes a fair bit of temp space when I am working on it. Do to me cleaning my hard drive right now and downloading an anime that is taking up annoying amounts of space I haven't worked on it in a few weeks.

I love dragons, I have collected at least a 100 megs or so of just dragon pictures from around the net. Maybe more, I also have a necklace with the chinese symble for dragon on it. I was also born in the year of the dragon.

I'm pretty sure if I could draw, all I would be drawing women and dragons. :D
