the key is to not kill it high....if the penguin leaves the screen...it wont go far

you have to hit it late and make it skip right past the 300 mark and it will go the farthest.

I have tried and gotten my top score 3 times....i cant get higher.

I suppose you all would like to know how I got that distance without cheating or editing it in a graphics program or anything like that.

Well its a very complicated set of variables that I need to explain and it could take me a bit to write them all out. So the only way i'll post them up is if people want them.

There are actually differant vesions of this game. There is one that is much harder that you can barely get 300 and a version which you can get the same scores as Gwar did. He is a disscusion on it with links to the other versions.

The Curious George in me made me google until I found the solution. I guess you can screw around with the physics to make it do whatever you want it to do.

The best I did on the fast one was 1205. On the slow one I got 299.1
