Did Id choose not to show Doom 3 at E3? I would imagine that would be up there in the ranks. I'm kind of curious if Id is going to release Doom 3 to compete with Half-life 2. Sorry, I'm tired...didn't RTFA.

Id purposely did not show off Doom3 for the PC. The Xbox version was shown though. I think another developer is doing that version though. Their reason was that they are very near completion of the PC version for a summer release. Id also said that they had shown Doom3 the last 2 years and there was no need to show it again when they could use the time on finishing up.

Did anyone see the xbox preview? the graphics looked like farcry, but worse, and it ran like crap. everytime something moved on the screen there was lag. it should be called doom 2.75 for ppl who play it on xbox.
