Nothing, the bellhop was calculated in twice for a total of $4, once when they paid $9 each and at the end.

$30 was the price of the room being overcharged
-$5 overcharged by this amount
------------------------------------------
$25 real price of the room
+$2 bellhop charges them by taking from the 5
-------------------------------------------
$27 which is 25 for the hotel and 2 for the bellhop or $9 each.

Sort of Check:
$30-27= $3 They got 3 dollars back.

To prove the bellhop was calculated in twice:
$27+2 = $29
$29-4 = $25 Price of the room

There is no missing money, they paid 25 for the room, 2 to the bellhop and 3 back to the guys..

So they spent 9 each which is (25$ room + 2$ bellhop = 27) + 3$ returned from bellhop =30
oops
