Critical Microsoft patches coming Tuesday

Microsoft will be releasing 8 critical updates this tuesday, 4/12/05.
5 dealing with windows, 1 messenger, 1 Microsoft Office, 1 Microsoft Exchange.

Also, it seems people are sending fake emails that look like they're from windows update telling people to update and it gives them a link. The link then directs them to a fake windows update page and when they update, they download a trojan.

I know most people here wouldn't fall for that, but you never know B)

Which are you talking about, theres two stories there. One can't be late because its about critical updates and thats not news but rather a warning.

I'd rather get a late warning than no warning.
