still cant get on a server

I emails valve about this problem but I am still waiting for a reply on the email I sent them from about 8 months ago so I really dont expect a response. I am getting the steam ticket error (31) unable to log on to server to authenticate steam ticket.

any suggestions?

Most of the time to fix that you just have to log out of Steam and close it. Then open Steam back up and log back in.

I had to reinstall it to. It sorted worked after that, now its working.

it is kinda working now, I can log on to some servers and others I get the steam ticket error, so maybe it will work its way out. :angry:

I got that error before. You have to manually go in and delete a file but I don't remember which one.
Go to the steam forums and search for this ticket error. It will be in there.
