I left a post telling this guy that you guys might be able to help him
He says if you do anything like "change name" in the game you have to go out and come back in...I am going to go try it and see if it is his client or a true bug

don't believe so. However, there are some servers out there that actively STOP you changing your name more than once during a game. I certainly found that whilst playing a CS server last night with Quickening, Frito and SoulSolution.

my name got stuck as change-team-quick... and wouldn't change until I reconnected the next time.

I was able to change my name during the game with no probs. same as won, did console name bla,blah, blah and it worked
