LATE BREAKING NEWS FROM HOLDOUTS

Hello,

Unless you haven't been using your Team Speak server lately, you have
noticed that there have been network issues causing all kinds of problems
for us with our current co-location provider. Last night was the straw that
broke the camels back. We can no longer wait for them to fix these issues
and are moving all the Team Speak servers tonight. This means a few things
for you and your server.

First off, you will have a new IP. All that will be different for your
server will be the IP (besides all the issues will be gone). All the ports,
users, and everything else will be the same. The IP for your Teamspeak
server and the web admin will be different. An example would be the
following:

You have a current Teamspeak server on 209.190.4.6:8767 and web admin on
209.190.4.6:14536 . The IP 209.190.4.6 is now going to map to IP 66.35.75.4
. This means that after tonight your Teamspeak server would run at
66.35.75.4:8767 and your web admin will run on 66.35.75.4:14536.

Here is list of current Teamspeak IPs and what they will be changed too
starting tonight. I am going to post this on front page of www.holdouts.com
so tell your users they can find new IP that way as well.

Second, because I physically have to take the machines down, remove them
from current rack, drive them across town, and then put them in new rack
there will be some downtime tonight. It will probably take a couple of hours
to move everything. So probably between 8-10PM EST tonight you will be down.
I have to change a bunch of scripts to look at new IPs before I move. So I
don't think it will happen before then. But once started it shouldn't be
more than a couple of hours before I get the new servers up.

So sorry about the short notice, but I need to get you guys out of there
tonight. My current provider says that I am the problem now and have slapped
a 10mb port on me. This of course is not true, but it is the reason I have
to move you guys tonight. The problems aren't going to go away with them
either, so it is better I move you sooner than later anyway.

If you have a game server running on any of the ips in the 209.190.4.X
range, you will also be moved in near future. Just not tonight. All we are
moving tonight is Team Speak.

Just sharing information with all of you this really shouldnt effect our severs, the website and GRITS Arena 24/7 and GRITS Ricochet steam are on the 209.190.4.4 but are not teamspeak servers and will be moved 'later' the other servers are on 199.218.8.x Holdouts takes good care of this community and set us up where 'everything' will never be off at once, well theoretically.
