TeamSpeak changes
#1
Hello,

Because of continued network issues that have been occurring with our Team Speak co-location host, we are starting to make plans to bring in a new connection (OC-3) and a better carrier (Williams Communications) to improve the network. Therefore, we may be changing the IP of your server in the near future. Nothing is definite yet. But in order to get ready if we do decide to move, we have created DNS names for all the current server IPs.

It is important that you and your users start using the DNS name now instead of referring to your server using the current IP. That way if and when we do move, you won't have to worry about the IP changing. We can just change the DNS name to point to the new IP and the move will be transparent to you and your users. Please do not wait until we decide to move.

Your current IP is:

66.35.75.18

The DNS name we created for your server IP is:

ts15.holdouts.com

So instead of referring to your server as:
(note all the port number references below are the same ports you are currently using)

66.35.75.18:TSPortNumber (for TeamSpeak)

Please now use:

ts15.holdouts.com:TSPortNumber (for TeamSpeak)

Also if you are using any web posts, make sure the configurations are also modified to point to the DNS name rather than the IP.

Thanks for your support in this matter. We want to make sure that your TeamSpeak runs on a good, fast, and reliable network. So by you helping us making it easier for IP changes by using DNS names, it helps us to accomplish that goal.

Thanks for your business,
Stefan Lehmiller
