I know most might think TS isn't a big part of this community, but without Vadavaka my clan FnS wouldn't be here. And actually, three of the members are senior admin and three are also junior admins of this community.
I'm proposing that we convert the NS server to another TS server. Seeing as the NS server is rarely used. This new server would most likely, not be a conventional TS server, but would be running the "THe One Mode" game style. On our current server, we try to run this mode every friday, and when we do it is packed the majority of the time.
Another reason this issue has risen to my attention is threads at the offical TS forums. People continue to complain about how all the servers are either 24/7 Lobby or Roleplay servers. If Vadavaka introduced a "TOM" server, it would be different and I think packed most of the time, seeing as people are wanting something different.
I'm hoping we could help out the TS community, like Vad did with the RC community. Harder of course, since TS is bigger, but still same idea. At the current server, we have many regs which I urge to come to the forums and become apart of the community and maybe with two servers, people will recognize the presense of Vadavaka in the TS community.

It is true that when "TOM" is on during friday, it is PACKED! It's really awesome when we have the people to go through map after map, and hell it's not even lobby.
For those of you who don't play TS, I'll show what ts_lobby equals
Ts_lobby is to The Specialists as De_Dust is to Counter-Strike
Over played, beaten with a horse, brings a lot of idiots to be honest, and hell the TS community needs another non Lobby, non Role playing server, many people are really looking foward to 2.2, which hopefully will be released in the summer, and we would like to have not just a death match, but team play and other modes, I know we could switch on the one server, but if people disagree and leave, we just lost people to play against. I don't have much to comment on, but yea that's how I feel.

I wont bombard anyone with a slue of bs, however I am a junior addy and I'm in FnS. I would agree that a 24/7 TOM server may be just what we need to really stand out not only in the TS community but in the HL and HL2 community as well. People will be drawn to the name Vadavaka because, "Wow, they run TWO ts servers!:o!", and they would soon come to realize that Vadavaka, being as awesome as it (she:P) is, runs lots of servers for multiple games. So, I'm just saying, not only would it be beneficial to FnS but everyone here at Vad's. So, vote yes kiddies (no pun intended).

The One Mode I wouldn't mind too much. I'd want to see the basic usage stats on the NS server first, but IMO the NS community while nothing to laugh at, just isn't as widespread as the TS community. NS is well populated by players in servers alike, but IMO TS's community is growing MUCH faster.
I play both games, and I'd much better like to see a TS server than an NS server.
With NS you've basically got: 24/7 maps, CO, or NS
With TS you've got: Deathmatch, roleplay, The One Mode, 24/7s, Teamplay, Pistols only, melee, etc.
There's all too few servers to make up for the massive variation found in TS.

I basically like NS more than TS, but I agree that the NS server is never used. I voted yes for this reason.

I have no problem with the server being used for something more popular, more people will enjoy. Not sure if it should be another ts server, although that sounds good for the time being. A lot of hl2 mods on the way, keep that in mind.

Till they are out another TS server sounds ok to me. just as long as the one we have not don't have TOM on it if the other one is TOM all the time. As you can tell, i'm not a fan of it hehe.

Ok not sure the No votes will ever catch up to the yes votes...those TS guys stick together:)and since reciprocity is up for it I will go ahead and ask Holdouts to make the NS server a TS server with reciprocity staying the captain and quick can be his co-captain (if he oks it). When the new mods are released it will be reciprocity's decision if we change it to something else.......well and mine too ;)at that time he will not need the co-captain
ok that is the plan, I will give you guys the weekend to reply and then I will lock this thread.

I agree to what Recip has said. Sounds good for now, but lets keep our eyes peeled for any interesting mods that may come out.
