Note on the article: You can delete mails now.
Well, I'm INVISIBLE AGAIN ... I might as well pay a visit to the LADIES ROOM ...
Without ice cream life and fame are meaningless.

Google may turn out to be like the other big corps in time but they aren't there yet. As for GoogleMail, I love it and use it for my main email address now. As for privacy, it is no more or less private than MS (hotmail) or Yahoo.

All public and free email accounts belong to the companies that house them and so you get what you pay for. I think that corps like MS are jealous because google has a positive reputation and MS is tanked.

just my two cents

Ive heard ruhmour that google is planning on creating a free global wifi network. Which i think is a pretty cool idea.

The only thing i dont like about gmail is it sounds like one of those lame futuristic porn movies...

That website makes them look way too evil, like the wal-mart of the internet:PEbaumsworld is evil, but Google? Naw! Creepy? No doubt!

Sure, they need to work around some stupid little things, like the ads that inappropriately match news articles, but I don't see any major problems with their services. Yes, they have ads in Gmail, I think it's pretty funny sometimes, specially when the ads match the email... example, some guy posted on another forum an email of his girlfriend breaking up with him (yes, i know, breaking up over email, crazy) and there were ads for online dating on the side. It's not like ads are put there by some guy working in a cubicle, it's all programmed.
