Internet idiots :(

It appears the idiots that provide my building's internet have blocked pretty much everything except web pages. Usenet won't work, DC++ won't work, IRC won't work, can't refresh steam servers.. Only things that work seems to be MSN and IE/Firefox. The Vads webirc won't work either.. so any idea how i can get on?:(

I had a similar problem some time ago: I was not able to use my browser, steam or irc while icq and xfire worked as usual!
I reinstalled windows and everything's working well now

As for IRC, the ports here are blocked too.
That's why I use a CGI. PM me if you want the web address.

Apparently they either are using too much bandwidth or suffered from a worm so they get all paranoid and block everything.:ph34r:
