As I was waiting for PnG to see if he can fix his 360 by wrapping it in a towel because he got the dreaded 3 rings of DEATH, I thought I would browse the forums... Only thing is, I came to the realization that I haven't posted since february, I no longer visit the forums every day, and there's hardly anyone on irc anymore.
I laugh because I made frooty, who idled and talked almost every day in irc, an OP. Now he doesn't idle anymore :o.
So I was curious what everyone is up to these days?
My update is basically after I graduated from my college in june:P...
From June - September. I didn't find a job. So I played KO and lvl'd to 70 haha.
In September I got a call from my college asking me if I'd be interested in a job... I'm like sure... Since I was a work-study there, I was helping the Director of Education, and she was very happy with my work and wanted me hired there. So she asked the campus director to create a position for me. I ended up being hired as a registrar/Assessment Coordinator. I basically make schedules, assist the director of Education, do computer reports, give assessment tests to new students, and play on the computer...
Oh and I also got a new car. 2008 Ford Focus SE. Blue. No sync because I didn't want to dish out $400 for something I wont use...
Then I caved and bought a xbox 360 because I wanted to play assassins creed and to just get into console games again.
FInally, last month I completed my "electronics to buy list" and bought a 32" LCD TV which now games look amazing for me.
So basically, I haven't played ricochet in months. I might have joined a game or 2, but I haven't really played since everyone is gone. I'm also not as interested in Knight Online as I was before. It's been like 5 months since I lvl'd to 70, and I only gained 1 lvl since then. Though I did obtain awesome gear:D.
So that's my update. Whats yours?

Uhm, I've quit university - Applied to the army in November - waiting for an interview now. Not worked, not played, not done anything much since. PC died so I'm using my laptop which overheats if you so much as look at it sooooooo all in all... Thats it. lol

I transferred to Saint Bonaventure University last semester after really screwing up bad at Georgia Tech. Im majoring in physics now and have atleast two more years ahead of me.
Graduating college in four years is like leaving a party at 10:30
I just got back from Mississippi for my spring break. I was down there helping to rebuild houses and such. The Gulf Coast is still a mess:(
I switched to Linux a couple months back after Vista crashed on me atleast once a day. I havn't had time to look into a partition for windows or to look into WINE (a windows emulator). So i have not been playing any games at all anymore. Good thing i guess. I need to get out of school.

I havent been doing much of anything, Just interviewed with a new Car dealership opening up here in town for the parts managers spot,(hoping to get it) not really liking fritolay anymore so its time for a change, Its a KIA dealership my brother in law is opening and I think it l do well with the state of things and gas the way it is. I talk to GRITS almost everyday or so on WoW if only for a second. I am still nursing my ankle from when I broke it, they say I have Adema in the joints and my tendons are inflamed, also learned that I have an (extra) bone in my foot that is causing problems with recovery. Josh is doing well and is turning 15 the 3rd of this month and is going to highschool next year, he also broke a bone, in his knee when he went to a "job for a cowboy" concert and decided to stage dive "which didnt work as well as he had planned" so he is in a leg brace for a couple of months.
Josh is already talking about getting his learners permit which I am not really looking forward to but I guess thats life.

Well i asked for more hrs at my job so i got that and doing side jobs round where i live for extra money so thats what i been doin lately

Well, I don't go on irc cause no-one is there talking. I still check the forums several times of day out of habit.

Nice thread Miagi
I try to log onto mIRC every day even if I just log on so you know I am still alive, I talk once in a while but mostly I just enjoy reading what miagi and png are up to.
I love coming on the forums and seeing updates so this is a great thread. Sometimes I find time to unwind with the arcade even, but Thrice still owns there.
Work is crazy, my funding ends the 30th of April and I am working on additional funding or some sort of bridge funding until the grant is resubmitted. The admins keep saying be patient but they are not as concerned about making my bill payments as I am.
I play WoW, way too much but I am one of the best dressed of my class on the entire server. It is nice to see wha? and fritoman on the same server and when the message pops up saying they logged on I try to say hi and get an update on things. We also use Vent when we raid together so we can talk.
We still have 7 servers and should probably make them games people actually play.
I still love everyone in this community especially those that are willing to hang out and update us on their lives.
The two most dedicated people in this community will always hold a special place in my heart for being the glue for us.

Graduated high school in 06, came to Marshall University where my dreams of biology were crushed. Now a business major and loving it. Got into Aikido in November of 2006, now I'm currently president of the club here at Marshall. Went to another organization one night that helps improve the Residence Halls... ended up becoming president of that organization. Tore my shoulder out doing judo, jammed a finger doing judo, and finally quit doing judo... Also have an interview coming up for a resident advisor position.
Like Pique I switched to Linux, although I still have Windows XP on my internal hard drive. I'm running an external hdd with Linux.

For the most part I'm just trying to make sure I graduate... I'm most likely going to be in the networking field out of high school if i can find a job, if not I'm going to pick up an associates degree in Network Engineering, or the bachelors of a similar name. All in all just trying to figure our what to do in the upcoming year or two.
By the way, As I'm currently employed in a dealership's service department, I could definitely see frito as a service manager. When did he break his ankle!?!

I broke my ankle about 3 months ago and I am now in my second cast, I got my first at the ER and then my other doc took it off and put a boot on me and then went to a ankle brace and now I am back in a cast for 2 weeks. I have worked for a dealership for 8 years and really enjoyed it....you can make good money there if you stick it out, I will find out about my prospect of getting back into it mid march so everyone keep your fingers crossed for me. Today I go talk to a Lawyer about my ankle and how fritolay has treated me while being injured, Frito thinks light duty means "GET BACK TO WORK" now and dont be such a puss.

Taking care of my daughter, paying the bills, playing bits and pieces of AO, looking for better job. Think I might cut playing AO out so I can work out again (I honestly am in luv with working out i dont know why.) Other than that, pretty much just that.
Being a parent is tougher than I thought but (I know this going to sound like a re-run) I wouldn't trade it for anything and honestly I love my daughter and would do anything for her, which is the reason I need to find a better job so that I can make sure when or if she decides to go to college (hope she does) that she can just go on a full ride or invest in something that she wants for her future.

By they way, since when has saying j/k at the end of any sentence make whatever was said suddenly invalid and inoffensive?

Back in high school my bio teacher used that. We all did really bad on a test and he was handing them back going "wow, i mean wow, you guys are dumb. No offense or anything, just wow." It was then we realized you could get away with almost any insult as long as you say no offense.
