i'm with wha on this one. if you keep getting sniped every round, then that's on you. i would like to see more creativity, teamwork and strategic thinking on vad's but that's just me...most of you probably just want to shoot shit. people get pissed because they attack the compound on militia dead on and get picked off as they go running out into the open every round. well, there is a tunnel dude. get some nightvision goggles and a colt and get to work.
it does suck when you can only afford a deagle and some kevlar and the other team all has sniper rifles though because then it often becomes a bullying session...but that may be the time to think and cook up a good scheme ...and if you can win that one round, then that's more satisfying than easily winning 100 rounds in a row...besides if your team put themselves in that position in the first place, maybe you guys deserve to get brutaly pounded for a while...it's good for you. everytime sombody has a bit of luck with an awp, the calls go out to 'ban the awp'.
i would love to organize a clan match between cDh and some cpl guys. we would see some brutal, brutal, brutal no mercy shit but at the end of it all, we would be much better than when we went in. of course, if we just want vad's to be a 'fun' server, then maybe it is better to simply ban the awp and autosnipers. it would keep the leetsters out and could be more noob-friendly but there would still be balancing issues....there always will.
