Theres no ska or reggae option?? Bah, I've been listening to a lot of that recently.

The proper stuff, mind you. Not the Peter Andre/Shaggy/generic 90's ragga-pop ****.

@Acid: If I want the blues I'd get jazz. Blues rock never suited me somehow.

I would say, offhand, top few would bands at this moment would be:-

The Specials, The Scrub (well, maybe not until they actually get round to releasing a proper album rather than this EP malarky), Charlie Parker, RHCPs, Bad Religion, Gerry Rafferty, Pantera, Audioslave, catch-22.

And a few others of course, but thats a nice little cross-section for now.
