Ok. When I am at my girlfriends and she either she or I want to play, we always get the same error.
In the top right corner of rico, sometimes, at least 3 minutes after I start I get the warning
Warning: CL_FlushEntityPacket
Sometimes it goes away and I can play, other times it lasts forever. I get around 3000 ping at this time. I have tried changing the rate in the console and I don't know what else might fix it. Any ideas?

Is she connected through a router? If so make sure she has the correct ports forwarded.

Good question. All I know it that she is at a university and has not had any problems with any internet connecting thing that I know of. (P2P and other online games) So I don't know if that is the case or not. :-(

It's the connection. The only thing you can do is try to 'tweak' rico like you were doing.

I wouldn't do the windows connection tweak though.

knowing the connection speed would help, but
cl_cmdrate 25
cl_updaterate 25
rate 6500
may raise your ping a little but it should give cl_flush a bit less often, it helped on my 56k, i use cmdrate as 17 and updaterate as 20 and rate 3500 - don't get cl_flush now like i did with the factory settings:P lol.

ITt's ethernet 100mpbs but we don't get that over here. I don't know what it is because I don't live here but its pretty quick DSL or faster at least. I'll keep trying for you guys. Thanks for all of the help.
